The last week in July saw another round of fund raising for the Contented Dementia Trust being held at Hindhead Golf course.
The Mad Hatter – a.k.a. David Ottewell, husband of Ladies’ Captain Jean Coombes – has boosted the funds being raised for the Trust, which is Jean’s Charity of the Year.
His challenge to the Ladies’ Team – to get nearer to the pin than him at the 10th hole, paying £5 if they didn’t and winning £5 if they did – resulted in a £270 boost to the fund.
The second picture shows the winning ladies, with Carol Taylor to Jean’s right and Lesley Sullivan on her left.
A great day was had by all.
