Andrew Berry does nothing by halves and decided that running along Hadrian’s Wall would be a good way to raise some funds for Contented Dementia Trust.
On June 21st, Andrew, accompanied by his friend Chris set out with some 800 other people to spend the weekend participating in what the organisers, adventure sports event company, Rat Race, described as “not for the faint hearted”.
The weekend-long event started at Carlisle Castle and ended 69 miles (111km) later at Newcastle’s Quayside. Although the winner took 9 hours 43 minutes to complete the route, Andrew and Chris made the run in a respectable 16 hours and 34 minutes.
The Team would like to thank you for raising a brilliant £721.88 for the Trust.
