The One Day S&P (Spouse & Partner) Course is tailored for the older spouse-carer or partner-carer where a younger family member or friend has already attended our Two and a half Day Introductory F&F Course.
This course is designed to give an understanding of how dementia affects the person, and to show how the introduction of simple SPECAL skills and care strategies can begin to change life for the better.
The emotional stress experienced by spouses and partners in carrying out their 24/7 caring role is taken fully into account, whilst ensuring that their own quality of life and sense of self is not put entirely on hold.
Duration: One day (09.30 – 17.00)
